Sep. 9th, 2019 11:05 pmUnexpectedly Boy-filled day today. I took my son to the hospital this morning for a colonoscopy, poor lad. Brought him back here for lunch, and then we went into town together because his shoes and trainers were falling apart and I suggested (well, sorta suggested, sorta informed him) that it would be a good move to buy some more while he had the day off from work. So he now has new, decently subfusk, trainers, a pair of black shoes and another pair of black shoes ordered, as I seem to have impressed upon him that it is worth having two pairs which he can alternate.
My little boy has come a long way. I did the Mum thing today, but he sorted out his medical stuff without needing any help from me, and figured out his shoes (and paid for them with a credit card on his phone, which I hadn't known was a thing that was a thing, because I am always behindhand with this stuff).
