GIP, really. He's so cute! I found a couple of fabulous photos of Aldis Hodge on the Tom & Lorenzo site and made a scant handful of icons. I'm keeping two, but if anyone would like either of these, be my guest.

Progress is slow - when you have to spend about an hour on the phone to get the company to send you a form, it does feel a bit like wading through treacle. But BIL has now been through the house to see if there are any personal items he wants to keep, and the chaps are working on their executor duties as best they can.

I, meanwhile, have started to remove the two soil beds on the small patio outside our back door, which are enclosed by a lean-to greenhouse (which sits under the veranda roof, and oh god I could rant about it for hours, I'll stop here). Only two wheelbarrowfuls so far, because the exit to the greenhouse has a seven-inch-high 'lip' for some reason, so I have to summon Beast to help me lift the wheelbarrow out.... But I think it's nearly time to put some of the seedlings out, so getting the soil into the actual garden seems like a good plan.

I have a massive and very painful mouth ulcer. Drinking tea or coffee is not currently worth it. Sigh.

I was quite in love with him as Hardison, and he looked extremely dapper in the T&L post!

The greenhouse - gah! I think you have to laugh, I do anyway, because the alternative is to rant and smash things! FIL installed it by stealth, sorta - he asked for a roof out above the little patio so that he might cook outdoors, having apparently forgotten that the UK is not Australia. Then he discovered that it gets wet and windy, even with a roof, so it needed to be enclosed. So he bought a greenhouse, which doesn't really fit. He was good at getting his own way without accommodating other people's preferences.

Ugh, mouth ulcers are horrid! They take all the joy out of eating and drinking. I hope it will heal soon!

Mercifully it is getting better. I've been having no tea - Beast suggested tea with extra milk (ew) or tea with cold water (ew ew) but I am happier drinking extra-milky coffee than disgusting inferior tea.

I wanted to move one of our raised beds, but quickly realised even in our tiny garden it would take forever. So, good luck with that job.

I don't know how many barrowloads of soil went to make the beds, but two barrowloads out has made very little impact! *woe*

Hardison is a good reason to watch Leverage! Let me recommend it to you as a series that is a lot of fun.
