A friend of mine has just died.

I knew it was coming. She had a recurrence of a very nasty cancer, and in fact had moved into a hospice. It's just... so sad. She wasn't much older than me, and she so deserved some time to herself, to enjoy a bit of freedom and have some fun. Instead, this.
