The wording of that headline is so funny to me. And now he's back!!! *jazz hands*

I think most of the Lance-in-space-training stories I've read were more about the pining and the gentle yearning. Like, Lance is away in Russia for months on end. Russia is cold and lonely. The other guys miss him. Everyone is masturbating a lot. But -- guns and screaming I do not recall. As with most things, I think the fandom version is way better than the reality.
