I wish I knew why

AITA for thinking that the post about the boyfriend making a steak dinner was the best AITA post ever? Totally trivial question, fierce and adamantly divided debate!

Sadly it has now been removed. Not sure why. It could have run and run! I posted a comment and to my astonishment had 13 notifications last night about responses, plus another five this morning.

I am still somewhat baffled about how that particular subreddit works, and can't see an explanation there. Sometimes I want to comment, and find that comments are locked. There was a different post that apparently had contest mode enabled, comments are in random ordering and vote scores are hidden. But I couldn't post a comment. Does anyone understand how this stuff works?

BTW we are off to Convention tomorrow and I am unlikely to answer any comments until Monday. Unless I get very bored during the men's contest and hide somewhere with my laptop!

I read AITA occassionally, but don't post there (same screen name). I'm not sure what their criteria for locking posts is, each sub is different.

Edited to also change to a Black Sails icon. HAHA!
