A thwarted squirrel is a wonderful thing.

There have been slight rearrangements on the birdfood cylinder, most specifically that the wide lid which was above it has been moved to the bottom of the cylinder, and the string attaching it to the fishing line which stretches from house to fence has been eliminated, so it now hangs higher.

I spent quite a while watching the garden this lunchtime. In the bush are the birds, *so* many little tits flitting about so fast that it is hard to count them all. On the ground, a squirrel set its sights on the dangling cylinder but didn't jump high enough. Then it jumped high enough to grasp the wide plastic lid, but couldn't get a grip and fell off. Next it crouched on a decent stick on the snowberry bush and leapt... only to fail, dismally, falling like a brick less than half way to its goal. The best the squirrel could do was grab the wide lid and hang from it for several seconds. No fudz for you, squirrels! Ahahaha!

This may possibly be becoming an obsession. But thwarted squirrels are funny!
