Awesome weekend. I took

ephemera_pop up to stay with

nopseud and we spent a great deal of time suggesting MTYG ideas to one another, ranging from the possibly usable to the wildest and wooliest. Much fun to be had thus. Watched random films in the hope of gaining more inspiration. Had customary excellent conversations with the man of the house before everyone else got up. Went to a local fireworks display, with magnificent bonfire. Fire good.

Sunday evening was the Backstreet Boys concert in Birmingham, and it hurt my smile muscles. So much joy! And incandescently!hot!Howie! I spent the whole of the first number watching Howie in bewildered longing. His attic portrait doesn't just keep him looking young, dear me, no. The show was really wonderful—and it didn't hurt that we were right in the centre and just twelve rows away from the stage. Real Boys! With faces, and everything! And it was a *really* *good* *show*. I amazed myself by knowing most of the words to most of the songs, and I *cried* laughing at Brian's "trailer". The little Nsync references didn't hurt, either... The three of us emerged with unshakeable grins, and I really want to see the whole thing again. Fortunately, I'm going to the O2 tonight with my Bun.

I am of course somewhat behind on sleep, as we didn't go to bed before 3am on any night, and I had to get up in timely fashion today as I have a personal trainer session, woe. Still, sleep. Bah.
