New ways to find the fic
Mar. 9th, 2006 10:30 amFirst Dress rehearsal last night. Lots of pretty costumes - the bumpkins are hilarious! My 'nightie' is very glam, as is my day dress, though the day dress is also, ahem, abbreviated, so that I was probably exposed to the waist at a certain point. Hmm. I had my eyes closed, and cannot be sure of details. Our Bacchus is very drool-worthy, even though he giggled when I suggested he oil his chest... Sofas are Exceeding Slippery, which combined with rather snug evening dress, meant it was hard to be elegant in Hades. But, these things will improve. Orchestra had better improve, too - I suspect half of them were deps, sight-reading, as they were *far* better at the Band Call on Tuesday.
Was very awake when I got home. Watched latter half of a film about a hairdressing competition (!), with Alan Rickman and Bill Nighy and all sorts of recognisable faces. Odd, but fun. Then had yen for Giant Space Bulls so put on the PopOdyssey dvd. Consequently got about five hours sleep before Beast prodded me out of bed to take him to Snorbins station. Moan. All My Own Fault, yes, I know.
My cat is snoring. Loudly.
On a quite different topic, a heads-up for those of you who can't be doing with the avalanche of notifications that is
fanfic100 but would like to be made aware of new pop fics —
luxshine has just created a couple of communities to help. There's
nsync_fanfic100, function is pretty obvious - so if you're writing to the Fanfic100 challenge, do join, and post your links table. Also, get yourself over there if you wanna read all these new fics! There's also
popslash_100, to accommodate all the sparkly crossover pairings that aren't allowed in the original
fanfic100 challenge. (There's already a Backstreet comm for the Fanfic100 stories, but I don't remember what it's called.)
