There is a foreign cat lying snoozing in our back garden. Or, possibly, a very large cowpat, but that seems less likely.

In probably related news, the patio is littered with mouse corpses. Ew.

If you feel your life would be enriched by looking at cartoon penguins illustrating Linux-related sex positions (and frankly, who wouldn't?), go here. Yes, there are also gay penguins.

The plumbers have finally finished the last item on their list, namely the replacement of the biggest lounge radiator. Unfortunately, the new, efficient radiator is not as long as the old manky one, so there are unsightly patches at either end of it. As the bathroom is also a bizarre mixture of shiny new tiles+porcelain, and shredded wallpaper+bare plaster, either I shall have to Get A Man In or bestir myself. Hmm. I wonder which seems more likely.

Dragon Challenge participation now in double figures, yay! I have, so far, only an opening paragraph, in my head, but procrastinated this morning by making a pretty nameplate for it.

There is a tree in our (next-door neighbour's) back garden that is covered with pompoms of pink blossom. It is lovely.

My conservatory is full of begonis, fuchsias and delphihiums in pots, and something that starts with an L in toilet rolls.

My sister has SHEEP now! O, rapture! They have been moved in by the nearby farmer, and tasked with keeping the grass short. Accompanying cows apparently prefer to go a-rambling and depositing... and we're back to cowpats. And I didn't even plan that!

Fish is here. Must dash.

Would you recommend these plumbers?

Are you sure??? Have you sniffed it? Poked at it? Just because you haven't seen any cows in the garden doesn't mean no cows have been there you now. Cows are tricky!

My sister only have dogs. She's so boring :-)

Your sister has a collie?! So does mine! Well, two of them, and they're of the shorthaired variety, but still, collies! We really are virtual twins :-)

That icon is so pretty! I love (old) botanical drawings, and especially roses. Most birthday cards I send to people are by a Swedish artist who's specialised in botanical rose drawings, but now I have none left and it's difficult to find a store that stocks them. It's probably easier to find them on the net these days - it's just that I always forget to search for them!
