It's too hot and sticky to write an orgy scene do anything. Sigh. I have to read three Panto scripts. O, deliver me. Panto. Moan.

Still, Sainsburys ought to be nice and cool. Yes. Think I'll go shopping.

After the weather of the past two months, I never thought I'd say this but : IT NEEDS TO RAIN!!!

It certainly does! My water butt is empty. Grr. I have at least a dozen pots on the patio, and they need water. Admittedly, the weeds are thriving without such kindly attention.

I need to go into town and I keep thinking about it and then realizing that means leaving my current spot on the bed under the ceiling fan with all the windows open.

Though the banks are probably air conditioned, aren't they?

The trouble with air conditioned banks, shops etc, is that you step inside and have to put a woolly on - though extreme air conditioning isn't much of a problem in this country, usually!

Oddly, I keep having memories of being in the US and having that problem, except that I can't think when that could have been the case, since I went to New York in February, took little note of shops in my brief Chicago/Lansing trip (May?) and was in Disneyworld in October. Might have been there, I spose.

I think the weather in Florida is changeable enough to possibly account for it.

The thing is, most Americans go from air conditioned houses to air conditioned cars to air conditioned stores, so really, they can entirely ignore the actual weather. :)

(And now I need to find something to wear which will not make me overheat, and yet fits. *eyes clothing piles suspiciously*)

Yep. Although Sainsburys was only mostly cool - there were patches of warm air being blown from somewhere! The car, though - the car was bliss!

Is all of Northern Europe too hot right now? While not muggy, it's far too warm here in Sweden too, +27C outside my window right now! I'm melting!!!

Hee. I made it for a recent _nsyncchallenge and was too late to enter it. Sigh.

We had blue sky and sunshine an hour ago, now it's back to Tupperware sky but still hotandsticky. Urg. 27C in Sweden does not sound appropriate at all. Have a penguin.
