Christmas-flavoured stuff
Dec. 13th, 2006 04:20 pmSeSa story, gone to beta. Hmm. Gibbering will continue until 26th December (at the earliest) because I shall be away from home until that evening. This is, of course, assuming my betas don't laugh and point and say, you hafta do better than *this*.
Cards - thank you
patchworkdragon,
bellamyrose,
msktrnanny and
saffronra. :-) Am just off to post office to send non-LJ cards!
Dining room currently looks like something from Ionesco play, cardboard boxes everywhere (mostly empty Lakeland ones, I think they breed) and sundry items waiting to be wrapped.
Some presents *yet to be purchased* OMG. No idea what. Note to self, look online for Beast gift.
Off to PO now.

Date: 2006-12-13 04:31 pm (UTC)Will there be a mobile phone in your vicinity over Christmas eve / day? Because I can certainly text you tell you tht your recipient said he/she loved your story when they post, if that would cut down on the gibbering.

Boxes do breed. You get one, and when you look again, you have 5. That has to be the reason. :D

Date: 2006-12-13 11:07 pm (UTC)It was a devised work about people constantly on the move - with jobs, countries, lovers, flats. Very successful - I actually made money on it!

Date: 2006-12-13 08:42 pm (UTC)I'm totally convinced that boxes breed. Not to mention papers. And dirty dishes! You do the dishes and feel sooo accomplished, turn your back on the zink for 5 minutes, and when you turn around there's at least a glass and probably a plate or two there. And you're the ONLY ONE IN THE HOUSE! Scary, that's what it is!!
Good luck with the rest of the present buying and wrapping!
