Well, eventfulness, in a mostly nice way.
My weekend was spent with the delightful
ephemera,
nopseud,
turps33,
trumpeterofdoom and
_ducks (and
archie_gremlin, who is also delightful but was somewhat less involved!). We watched all of Joey's dancing, awesomeness itself, particularly in HQ widescreen (!!), and were briefly ded of hot when he did post-show dancing in jeans. *pauses to whimper* We watched 'Little Red Riding Hood', which turned out to be Great Fun, and also 'On The Line', because yes. We went to see Pirates III, and going to see such things in company with other folk who laugh helplessly at the same bits I do is always a Fine Plan. We watched enough of 'Rome' for me to think, hmm, must see more. We watched an unexpectedly excellent episode of 'Dr Who' (which frankly has been sucky of late). We had rather more chocolate than is entirely proper, and certain of us did our best to convert poor
_ducks to the cult of the Lamp, although we may simply have terrified her into fleeing instead. Hmm.
It was good.
And when we came back, Lance was striding about in eyeliner and the Most Fabulous Coat Ever. He should wear it always. Everywhere. Except in the shower, because that would be silly. Also, he should be selected to play Joseph, as he is clearly a million times more awesome than any actual candidate for the role.
Also, Changes Have Been Made to my show, and it will now incorporate the characterisation which I was forced to mourn, back in, um, February? when the chap who auditioned for the role in question had to decline it. There were a few rather traumatic days and stress-inducing rehearsals last week, but no more. We had an excellent rehearsal last night and have now finished setting the show - and managed to run through the second half of Act 2 with surprising fluency. Most gratifying.
So. Dragon story to complete - damn, I know what happens, why do I have to do the *work* bit? - letter to write to Pa, various bits of stuff to sort... I should probably also get dressed, particularly since there are people cleaning the windows.
ETA: also, I made my own mayonnaise yesterday, and today I had fresh and indescribably good raspberries for breakfast.
