Also, that evil creepy boy turned out to be dismayingly tempting when not sneering and green.

There's two shows (well, three) that make me wish we got better UK programming. Dr Who, Torchwood and Spooks. Dammit all.

At the moment, Dr Who is the only thing I watch... it's been a bit disappointing of late, but this two-parter was lovely.

There's not much else for me to watch right now. TW is starting on BBC-America next month, which is something to look forward to. I haven't had a lot of complaints about Dr Who (I'm easy, an episode has to really suck of any show for me to not be happy with it. :D

Doctor Who is an amazing programme, really - it has the potential to be Incredibly Good Television, and lives up to that surprisingly often. (I think the two-part cybermen episode from last season was stunning stuff.)

It's good know I'm not the only who cried at this episode. It was quite possibly my favourite DW episode.

Doctor who has this incredible ability of being able to make me cry so many freaking times oer series. Normally, i'm lucky if a series makes me blubber just trhe once, and that usually takes about twenty episodes build up and character ddevelopment so I can get to know them first.

I suppose Who has built up over such a long time that it's almost like fanfic - we know the characters, so we care before it even starts.

That's the thing, thoguh - a lot of fans DON'T. Surw I always knw the basics and could smile a bit at older episodes, but I and many more fans knew little to nothing of doctor who except that our parents hid behind the sofa from the daleks. We don't really have any deeper connections to the characters - those connectins have just been newly created in us, over just two series.

Kinda amazing really.
