So... here we are, enjoying the sparklyglee, yes? I'm a bit further than half-way through, but I started at the bottom of the list and am working up! Twenty-four new stories, woot! Thanks very much, turps33 and vaudevilles, for a great challenge.

The deadline for colorfilter's texture challenge has been extended to Friday, so I may just play with Photoshop for a bit and see what happens.

I have Bun back, and plans to go shopping tomorrow. Hmm.

The rope ladders are a nice touch. Do you actually use them or are they just for show?

No, I didn't have anyone set to climb those , although there was another rope—which our hero attempted to use to hang himself. Since this is comedy, he was of course thwarted by the arrival of his Lady Love. :-)

I often think that actually the *most* talent in our group is in the set building team. Our sets for 'Orpheus in the Underworld' and 'Red Hot and Cole' were glorious art deco extravaganzas!

I shall second that last comment - having actually seen it with flags and people in costume and so on, to me it looks sadly laccking in animation in the basic state - though of course the shot allows you to see it very clearly.

The sets always get taken down with remarkable speed - though, since we own the Playhouse, it's not crucial anyway. I don't know what happens to the bits!

It's an excellent challenge idea. I think there's still plenty of inspiration left among the prompts, too.

Our set-builders are extremely capable. This doesn't really show off what they can do - we'll be doing 'South Pacific' next March, and already they are talking about putting water on the stage. Specifically, there'll have to be a shower for the heroine...

I agree. We'll be opening up the rest of the prompts soon, for people to work on when and if they wish. Hopefully many more will be taken.
