pensnestHi folks! No, I'm not home, I'm in my very sleek room at the Contemporary Resort, and woo hoo, free Internet. Even if it is with a Windows machine, I rejoice. (Mind you, the text looks pretty crappy. You should all get Macs. Really.)
This is a beautiful room! Cor. The Boardwalk was very nice, traditional, and I loved the location, but this is so sleek and different. And we have a view right over the lake, it's just beautiful. topaz119 (glee!), and ate stuff from about a dozen different ethnic cuisines around the World Showcase, and wandered in and out of various rides and attractions. For the second time this week, Beast and I were given a set of six Fastpasses for the park we were in. Oh, and just to disprove the notion that there's no such thing as a free lunch at Disney, we got ours comped in MGM when, just after we'd asked for the check, all the lights went out... they couldn't use the computers to make us a bill, so it was on the house!
We are having a totally delightful time, just pleasing ourselves. I even thought I'd broken my LJ addiction, 'cause I hardly missed you all at all, but my squeak of joy when I noticed this passably elegant little screen (with Free Internet Connection, wait, is this really Disney property?) made me recognize that nothing can be done, I'm hooked and staying this way. Well, we've 'done' all the parks, although there remains a little at Epcot yet toeat do, and a few things to repeat. I adore "Soarin'". Tomorrow we're doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour, and then plotting a daring escape to Seaworld, and probably Universal as well.
