Nov. 5th, 2007 10:30 amI've received a ton of emails about that programme I was muttering about last night, including a bunch of photos, oh joy, all in colour so I shall have to Attend To Them in Photoshop before I can put them in the programme.
To cheer myself up,
I'm fairly sure the texture on this is one I made myself. Love his expression!

I'm keeping this one all to myself!

Being Trendy with a notebook texture worked out rather well.

I'm keeping this one, too, because he is So Pretty.

Really pleased that this one won, because I think it's beautiful. Also, I did Good Things with the colouring, though you probably can't tell.

The texture here is by

Usual thing, if you'd like one of the ones I haven't earmarked for my own, just ask.

Date: 2007-11-05 02:30 pm (UTC)The layout is printer-ready—usually, I'm doing something that will be folded over into A4 'portrait' pages, so I put two pages onto each spread, and it gets printed on A3 paper. That way I can just save the whole thing as a .pdf file. When we used to do A5-sized programmes, they were laid out on A4 sheets instead.
This one, being A5 but *sideways*, has to be on A3, but printed twice per A3 spread. It's quite interesting doing the layout, a lot more imaginative than the fairly standard format of most programmes, but there are distinct disadvantages! Still, most of the hassle is because I do not have the content, grrr!
If you're interested in InDesign, you'd be welcome to come over some time, and I'll show you how I put a programme together.
