I am glad to see that the .gif featured in my previous entry had several of you mesmerised. Moohaha.
Fifty signups for Make The Yuletide Gay, and I'm not going to post the banner because I figure, if you're on my friends list and *haven't* seen it yet, it's only because you're not the slightest bit interested. However, I think we can manage a few more writers, yes?
I got the final ingredients for that programme at 0920 on Tuesday morning. Had it finished and sent off for proof-reading at about 0945, and corrected and put on disk, ready to be collected, by 1045. It was collected at 1439 for delivery to the printers. Oh well, I expect it got done.
I've been to visit my Pa today. He was quaffing a glass of red wine and chewing on a chunk of liquorice when I arrived (at 1120). He seemed reasonably cheerful, still proud of himself for splendid efforts in physiotherapy on Tuesday, and very proud of Yaya, who is a valiant knight in the cause of making sure his life goes as smoothly as possible. Seriously, if he hadn't married her, he'd probably be dead now. *wonders if it is possible to buy not-excruciatingly-expensive stuff at Tiffany's*
My Photoshop, she is playing me false. Woe. The cursor displays only as a hand, I can not haz text for macros, or indeed anything else. As my best effort at making programs better is to shut down and hope when I restart the problem will have gone away, I am not sanguine about my chances of making this week's icons tomorrow.
However, this time next week I shall be stuffing my rucksack for my trip to New York, yay! Who have I forgotten who's going to be able to meet up?
