Reading matters
Aug. 20th, 2005 10:37 amWell. I may not quite have read all the Sensory Overload fics, but am pretty well sated nonetheless. It was impressive to read so many, so different, so well-written stories, and I hope I managed to comment on everything. My apologies to those authors whose stories I may have missed, since I wasn't efficient enough to keep a note of where I'd got to in the vast list!
I'd like to recommend my absolute favourites.
Grabbing Hands Grab All They Can, by Maggie. I swear, I've met the narrator of this story. He probably taught my daughter, my son and (briefly) me at the Saturday morning martial arts class. http://www.livejournal.com/users/mogigraphia/121637.html
Tomorrow won't do by afrai - it's a fantasy world, fascinatingly written, and I know I read it and found it incredibly absorbing.
Now in a locked post, so you have to email the author for access. See the Sensory Overload index page, now alphabetically indexed for your convenience!
For singing these tears by laughingwolf which brought a prickle of tears to my eyes. http://www.livejournal.com/users/laughingwolf/238389.html
And then there's We Talk of Love And Trust by
chris_king_2005 This is a mighty work, by comparison to the general run of short stories, at some 38,000 words. It is utterly lovable, and romantic, and funny, and you should read it.

Thanks again to
ephemera_tales for providing me with the impetus to write something I would never have thought of writing, let alone bothered to compose, without this challenge.
Enjoy, folks!
