News of Bun

Yesterday was... tense. Very tense.
It was A-Level results day. Bun didn't quite make the grades she needed to get to the university she's set her heart on. Much quivering. Telephone call to see whether they'd have her anyway: please call back tomorrow afternoon... Purchase of newspaper, perusal of Clearing vacancies, noting with interest that her second-choice uni had space on the Chemical Physics course.
Late afternoon, I checked her status on the UCAS website, and there was much rejoicing at the word *Accepted* next to Bristol University. Omigod. Squeaks, cuddles, and communion with tissues. Confirmed it on the phone this afternoon.
Jeez, what a relief!
