I just posted a *whole bunch* of suggestions for making February a popslash festival, over at popsoundboard. I hope it doesn't look like overkill!

I seem to have stigmata... or is that stigmatum, since it's just on my right palm? A nasty patch of psoriasis with a tiny split in the middle. Most irritating.

Had another singing lesson today. Ave Maria, mostly the Gounod version, and really, I can make rather lovely noises. It's very gratifying. Although, trying to push the piano away with my belly was an unexpected technique...

Had a delightful morning at the local Stitch & Bitch today, nattering to fangirls! It started off a bit iffy, but I somehow got into a conversation about Doctor Who (at least, I think that's where it started) and ended up talking about fic, and telly, and books, and trying to persuade them to come along to Redemption. A nice little addition to my week.

And I got a bit of knitting done, which was nice. A scarf, although the Boy's "Christmas" sweater still lacks half an arm—I cannot carry two buckets of yarn to a café. Of course they are all way better at this knitting lark than I am, and are making gloves and such!
