Last night, my team correctly identified a murderer and won first prize. Much to our astonishment! There was a murder mystery evening down at the playhouse—a bit *too* mystifying, and a bit too much like homework, with rather more emphasis on stuff that was written down, and rather less on having things acted out, than I'd have liked, but overall it was fun.

Today I am off to the first in a series of workshops, sadly at 0930. Having to get up at eight o'clock on a Sunday is a bit harsh.

I'm pleased with the response to the February Festival idea, and contemplating posting an attempt at figuring out the rules for the Brave Author challenge before I go out. Do pop over to popsoundboard and see what needs to be done.

Anyone reading this who participated in the Kradam_holidays fic exchange?

Are you as fed up with it as I am? It has been almost ten days since the last story was posted, and there has been no news as to whether there are any stories yet to post, no reveal, and not even a revised schedule to say when we can expect these things.

I have to say, I'm pretty damn unimpressed.

I've just commented at the 'Page a Mod' post to ask about these things. I hope you'll do the same (if you haven't already). It's very unfair to anyone whose story has not been posted (I know for certain of one author), and it's irritating to those of us who participated in good faith.
