I was horrified to find, yesterday evening, that I was watching a Don't Tell The Bride in which the groom thought that the best way to celebrate his wedding was to surprise his bride and guests with a zombie apocalypse.

In truth, he made an excellent job of it, and she took it so well that I suspect she must have had a fair idea it would be happening. (She was really upset with his choice of wedding dress, which seemed to be a genuine surprise.) She appeared quite delighted at being 'rescued' from a crowd of ravening zombies by a bridegroom in combat gear wielding a gun.

I conclude that: (a) my MTYG story was more realistic than even I thought, at least in terms of the victim/recipient being charmed by a zombie horde, and (b) people are strange.
