Dear me. I seem to have got into the habit of updating my LJ in my head, and then not bothering actually to update in my journal.

Well. We joined the gym, and have been veritable exercise bunnies this week, three gym visits and a swim. The insides of my thighs are making themselves known to me today, but not shrieking at me, which is nice. And yesterday afternoon we had an almighty tidy-up of bedrooms, all four of us, and created two *giant* carrier bags—and I do mean giant, about four feet square, I've never seen such carrier bags but I found them, mysteriously, in the garage—full of discarded clothes, a bin bag of shoes, and sundry other carriers of stuff. Impressive, really. We shall have to have a massed family stagger to the charity shops in town.

After that we were quite worn out, so Bun and I watched a couple of ABDCs (we seem to be missing last week's, anyone point me to it?). She mused that it would be spectacularly cool to have a crew which could combine street dance with ballet—and one did! Awesome!

Also, *FUCKING* NODA. Just - fuck them.

Off to pa-in-law's today. We are taking him out for a curry.

And I shall have reason to buckle down and *write* my long-pondered story. bittybang ftw!

Wow! Sounds like the gym is working out! Pardon the pun! And the clean-up - fantastic job! Um, but what is a "curry"? I don't think I've ever heard that expression.

Curry = Indian food. It was very good! He'd never had it until today - incredibly, as on this little island, curry has been around for a long time and has quite possibly overtaken fish and chips as *the* default takeaway - so we had a nice variety and shared lots of it.

Ooh, I love purging my closet. So satisfying. (I realise I'm probably a freak.)

I write lots of long, witty posts in my head. My actual entires, two dry lines. :D

I purge stuff every so often, because I buy stupid crap every so often. Unfortunately I have a tendency to go and buy more, to fill the lovely available space! Perhaps I won't have time, now that Beast and I are going to the gym together.

Sounds like you've been having a productive week, though - hurray for de-stuffing the house, and getting to go swimming.
