Icon challenges

Is there anyone out there who misses the old nsync-based icon challenges? I used to make icons for three, regularly, and enjoyed it a lot. (Anyone who's thinking about learning to make icons/use a graphics program, I promise you that an icon challenge is a really good way to improve your skills.*) Nowadays, although I've collected a bunch of new photos, I haven't managed to sit down and make icons from them without the weekly deadline.

If the _nsyncchallenge were to start up again, would you join? Would you enter the challenges? Would you vote?

As soon as my thesis is done, definitely! And I'll get back to severalplums then, too. (Also, I totally need an icon I can use to talk about icons. :D)

Not a lot of enthusiasm among other LJ-ers, sadly, so I dunno whether this is going to happen. :-(
