Of My Life.

pensnestWe spent a few days in Glorious Devon with my sister and her family, admiring the views and the real fire, and her holiday lets. (Woe that there aren't enough of them to have Camp Sparkle there, at least, not yet.) Got back home on Monday and spent Tuesday taking the brats back to Norwich, nicely in advance of the onmarching snow. It was a little strange, driving homeward with the radio announcing gloom, blizzard and the general shutness of roads, while the sun was in fact shining on us and there was no snow and little traffic.
However, it started to snow on Tuesday evening, and we now have a good six inches of the stuff lying around. On my return from Wart Clinic—where my back was assaulted with liquid nitrogen, gah, like really cold and painful ticklings—I slithered round the roundabout in a most unnerving way. However, my Beast wielded the snow shovel and cleared the drive, for he is a noble Beast.
