So, eleven wonderful popslashers have signed up for Awesome August fics already, with a handful more (including me) waiting to figure out which day to choose to unleash something new onto the world.

The beginning of the month is looking a bit sorry for itself... and you have almost three weeks to get something written, so how about it?

I kind of have an idea for a Chris/Lance fic, but I'm not sure. What compromises a ficlet? Is there a particular length? I've never participated in one of these before, so pardon the silly questions.

Excellent. A 'ficlet' is basically something fairly short (of course, longer is also good!), I just didn't want to say, you *must* write AT LEAST 500 words, or anything like that. These days, I figure the story needs to be as long as the story needs to be.

If you'd like a beta, I'm happy to help. There should be more Trickyfish in the world!

Thank you! Well, instead of picking a day per se I'll just write something and send it to you and you can do whatever you like with it. If it sucks, dont put it up, if its fairly non-sucky, pick whatever day you want.
