I think the pic is actually from when he played Oscar Wilde (just because I'm pretty sure I've seen it before), BUT him in period costume in general is A+ :D

It's a piece of casting that, once it has happened, makes you think—OF COURSE this is perfect. How did I not think of it for myself! I do like RDJ's Sherlock, as it happens, but I can so imagine him being wrong-footed and uncomfortable when this Mycroft happens along. Squee!
