pensnestI delved further into the wooden crate full of Dad's personal stuff today. Bunch of photos, including my parents' wedding album, and "Our Daughter's Wedding" album, which I have naturally appropriated, though we do already have most of those pictures.
Also, two bundles of love letters. I read one my father wrote a week or so before they got married, and it's beautiful. Quite a lot of letters, too, because of Dad being in the army so that they were often separated.
Still, though I'm delighted to have got a glimpse of the passion in their relationship, I don't think I'll read them all, because, well, still my *parents*.
