Dec. 21st, 2010 04:37 pmWe fetched the brats from Norwich yesterday, and were back well before it snowed last night—I don't like driving in snow, so am grateful for the weather's forbearance. This morning saw an epic trip to the supermarket, where they had run out of parsnips. *Run out of parsnips!* There will have to be a trip to nearer-supermarket in the next few days, I will not have my Christmas dinner parsnip-free. Bun seems to have volunteered for a lot of the catering duty, which is great, as she has suggested fish pie and then lasagne, and I had already volunteered both brats to make shepherd's pie for Christmas Eve. This is excellent, as it will leave me more time for reading MTYG stories.
It's snowing again, but more of a wettish, British snow than the incredibly cold, crisp stuff that has been coming down of late.
Thank you to
digital_diva,
chalcopyrite and
nopseud for the cards. Christmas tentacles!
