Is this real? A Justin Timberlake movie I actually think I might find amusing? And he keeps breaking into song in it??

Also, there seems to have been *no* excitement on my friends list about Justin breaking up with Jessica Biel. Am I just out of touch, and you all commented about this ages ago?

Alas, I made my jokes about the breakup on twitter, and on twitter only. They were quite terrible so I didn't quite think about posting about it here. :)

I for one am very excited. Not that I really care about who Justin may or may not be dating, but his breakups and new albums usually seem to coincide. :D

He took his mum to the Oscars, bless him, which seems to have heralded the announcement of the breakup. (I get this kind of gossip via Go Fug Yourself. It is disconcerting to me to know about this stuff before my friends list tells me!)

i literally just watched the trailer for that movie, and i'll probably see it but i don't really get how its much different than no strings attached.

I vaguely remember seeing something about No Strings Attached and having quite different associations for that title. Ahem. But I've long thought Justin should do some kind of romcom, I suspect he'll be quite good.

I heard about the break-up from (of all people) D, so I assumed that I'd just missed it somehow on my flist, but maybe not. I actually had to stop and think about who he'd been dating, so I think I'm in the 'oh, hadn't they already imploded?' camp.

Yeah... I normally expect to get all my 'celebrity news' from my friends list (otherwise I wouldn't know anything about anybody, or probably care, either), and it seems a bit sad that nobody who noticed cared enough to post. Poor Justin, we don't love him any more.

I actually want to see Friends With Benefits, too... the first trailer I saw made me think "meh" but the second one made it look actually funny and rather adorable. :)

I found out about their breakup from, of all places, Tumblr. There was a lot of excitement over there about it, but I was kind of surprised to know they were still together. Heh.

Poor Justin. The only time I've seen him mentioned on my flist recently is with Social Network stuff, where he's very much seen as the third wheel of the main cast.

Even in fic/fic discussions he's shown that way, which is weird because this is Justin Timberlake, being ignored seems wrong.
