I just found a link to Stephen Fry being *awesome*. (Devout Catholics may not agree.)

He is so fantastic. ♥

Stephen Fry is amazing. It's hard to imagine how anyone would disagree with him! He's so passionate and yet reasonable.

But I cannot help wondering what the hell happened to his nose!

I know! I kept thinking that as I was listening to him talk. Strange!

I think he got it broken as a kid, when he was like six. And when they got around to thinking about fixing it, he had gotten used to how his face looked with that crooked beak.

And that speech is so amazing. Convincing, too. They did two votes at that event about whether the Catholic Church is a force for good, one before all the speeches and one after and while the CC wasn't in front even before all the talks, the second vote went much worse for them.

Six! Poor kid.

He's so sincere in that speech, I think that's the most convincing thing of all, even beyond what he has to say.
