pensnestFortunately I did not have to perform this evening, but instead was running around like a mad thing on waitress duty. Show went well, and afterwards most of us went out for a curry - which was also a bit of a madhouse!
Day 6: When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?
When I did my ST:TNG stories I was quite likely to use a female POV, and several fics featured the female members of the Enterprise's staff (and some OCs). Other stories, and my in-my-head-only stories, are likely to feature women.
But with popslash, there's not a lot of scope for writing female characters, and so my default seems to have become male characters. It seems weird, and I worry about it sometimes, but that's what my fandom gives me, really.
