pensnestDay 9: Pairings – For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favorite pairings to write?
ST:TNG I don't have favourite canon pairings. I did write a Data/Tasha, a Frank/Troi and a Data/Q, but mostly I wrote gen or Data/OFC. I had the plan in my head for an epic Data/OFC that was going to span centuries and involve all kinds of shenanigans with time travel, but the fandom fizzled rather and I didn't have the energy to write it without any readers.
My ID4 story had Dr Okun/OFC, and I had no other interest in this canon source!
The Archers - well, it's Adam/Ian all the way, although I'm quite fond of David and Ruth.
Stargate: Atlantis - favourite pairing is McShep, and probably most pairings involving McKay would work for me (my love for somewhat awkward geniuses holding true). But I've not written them.
Popslash! Ah. Trickyfish (Chris/Lance) is the pairing of my heart. Going by what I've written it looks as though Lance/JC and Lance/Justin are my next favourites, but really, I have a One True Character in popslash. I'll pretty much read Lance/Anyone. Hell, I've invented a few pairings - Lance/Ian McKellan, Lance/Alan Cumming and Lance/Adam Lambert being the most interesting to my mind.
Glambert - well, Adam/Lance Bass is obviously my Thing; after that I like Bradam (Adam/Brad Bell) best, and there are a lot of enjoyable Kradam (Adam/Kris Allen) stories around. I've only written one, though, because Kris is married, and for me that means either AU or poly, because I don't wanna write "After the divorce". Bleh.
