Had another Oxfam open house yesterday - not many people through but I spent most of the time from 10.30-4pm chatting to someone, and got rid of several pictures and some cards for a profit of around £80, so not a bad day overall. I'm taking the stuff down to the theatre tonight to see if anyone turns up there.

A cheering start to the day when I found this post on Alan Cumming's blog. A performance of "Don't Tell Mama" from Cabaret in a genderswapped version, ie performed by AC instead of 'Sally Bowles'. Alan Cumming is made of awesome.

Beast got it into his head that he wanted a new keyboard, so now I also have a new keyboard. It's a nice typing action but a bit noisy, also rather high off the desk. And as it is a Windows keyboard there are oddnesses. Also, for some reason the @ key, while in its proper place above the 2, is indicated on the keyboard as ". The " key, above the ', has an @ label. I'm not sure about this...

Yep, that's a UK keyboard layout.

As a windows user the @ key is above the ' key ALWAYS
- I have not seen it above the 2 key

Well, that's just *silly*! The " needs to be above the ', it makes way more sense.

Perhaps it's an Apple thing. In which case, I say Good. :-p
