A bunch more lovely cards to report, from turps33 (I am so stealing that design next year), nopseud, ephemera, turlough (and Lancecat!), puszysty and stellamira, with also the cutest teeny tiny Peruvian hat keyring. A very cheerful collection!

Stood outside the butcher's in the queue for nearly 45 minutes to collect the piglet, which is about a yard long and elegantly posed in its box. More butchery will be necessary for the thing to fit in the oven, still, it looks as though Bun's young man will get some leftovers when he comes to visit. Other stuff... mostly appears to be done, which is a bit unnerving. Though I have not yet finished the jacket Bun is getting for Christmas.

Time for some fish pie.

People announcing they got cards before Christmas is very happy-making. Next year I'll have to make an extra effort and see if I can them there in time world wide :D

I'm afraid my 'normal people' cards only got posted yesterday, so they have no chance of getting there before Christmas. Ah, well. Most of the 'normal people' cards go to people I'm not actually in touch with except at Christmas. so they don't seem as important as the fan-friends cards.

You're preparing a whole piglet for Christmas?! Suddenly my ham seems very tiny and insignificant :-) Good luck with Bun's jacket.

I think I'll be preparing two half piglets, since it'd have to be rolled into a ball to fit into the oven otherwise! It's been years since I've cooked a suckling pig, but the first time I tried, it went very well.

I keep expecting them to be *smaller*, though.
