pensnest: close up of Adam Lambert without makeup (Adam beautiful)

Hmmm.

There's no denying the image is pretty. But in all the squee I've been seeing on the Glambert comms, nobody seems to have commented that the boy has been Photoshopped so hard he doesn't actually look much like Adam Lambert any more. He's turned into an adorable little waif (look at that slender chest! Where does he get the breath to sing the way he does?) with flawless skin and no substance.

Do we really need our idols to be artificial? Really?

I'm not in the fandom, but I've seen plenty of pix. That doesn't look like him.

I thought the same thing. I sometimes save pictures of Adam, but I gave these a miss. Too photoshopped and too unreal.

They don't look like him and they don't do anything for me.

If you hadn't said it was Adam, I wouldn't have recognized him. It really looks like awkward photoshopping, too, like his head is too large for his body. And I swear they took two photos from two different perspectives and then smushed them together for that effect, so hid body could seem smaller, and that's a shame. Adam's not a small teensy boy, and that's one of the wonderful things about him. He's got a very real look, under all the glam.

Yeah, the entire photoshoot was just ruined. I did enjoy the behind the scenes video, as his head to body ratio is still normal. :D

Wooooowwwwwww. I cannot believe the way they've pared down his jawline and slimmed his face. It actually makes the top of his head look too big for the bottom portion of his face. I wonder if there's a GIANT BRAIN in there.

That is some ridiculous shit, right there.

...I hadn't seen this photo and would NOT have identified it as Adam. That is 'shopped to hell. Where's his jaw? His LIFE? His balance and power and... HIM?

It might be pretty, but it sure as hell ain't Adam.

...They do not appear to have interfered overmuch with the shape of his ears?

Ahaha, I love ("love") how his chest is still putting tension on his shirt buttons, even though there is now NO CHEST.

His skin on his face kind of freaks me out, actually. MORE IS NOT BETTER WITH PHOTOSHOP.

I can't believe they actually CHANGED THE SHAPE OF HIS FACE. Do they think we don't know what he looks like?
