More icon memeage

More icon meme stuff, these are for
adelate"
, "Watson extremely dubious", made by
famira. I found a wonderful batch of Sherlock icons, and picked up several. John Watson's face is so expressive, and as it turns out I selected a couple of him looking doubtful about something. Really, I couldn't choose just one. I kinda wish my Watson icons turned up more often when I use 'random icon'. Look at his pout!
"Jayne True Love", one of my earliest efforts at icon-making, but it has a kind of bolts-and-basics charm that I still quite like. I'm surprised I don't have more Firefly icons, but I suppose I don't post about Firefly very often, despite my enduring love for the show. Jayne's 'true love', in case you don't know, is Vera. Vera is the gun.
"Justin Timberlake god of sex", my ironic Justin icon. I sorta cut down on my pop icons (in some ways) with my Dreamwidth account, and the pretty-Justin ones didn't make it across. This one looks like an aged Yorkshireman gurning, and I just love it as a comment on JT the Worshipped One. I love him (a bit) really, but hey.
"Mr Darcy" is one of my entries for a
severalplums challenge, and I'm very pleased with the way it worked out. I had quite a hard time fitting the frame and the picture together and working out how much colour to put in, and so on... but it worked out very pretty. Shame I don't very often think to use it, really.
"Crown Frog" was made by
amethystia and I've had it for quite a long time. I think it was retired at one point, only for me to find I did a frog story (probably that Justin/Brian one that was an MTYG test) and needed to bring it back. It's rather gorgeous, and oddly handy.
"Mary Bennett prefers a book" from a fantastic batch by the amazing
redscharlach. Such a clever set of P&P icons. I have three, I think, though I don't think I've uploaded the Lady Catherine de Bourgh one yet. Surprising how often a reference to 'prefers a book' comes in handy, although I do have a more general 'books' icon.
If you'd like me to ask about your icons, go to this post (which will conveniently give you an opportunity to listen to Lance singing about Miracle Whip, wtf, and to admire his single, perfect tear).
Awwww, the random icon button has just given me Penguins on parade. I saw part of a programme on penguins last night, and the emperor chicks are *absurdly* cute.
