The Dev team uses mostly Perl, if that helps.

I'm not on the dev team, but I can get in touch with them, if you need?

There's also the dw_dev community, Bugzilla and Github for DW.

It doesn't look as though I'll be able to persuade my Beast into joining the dev team, but thanks for the offer. I'll keep the information in mind!
