Based on a few scattered comments I've seen here and there, I've come to suspect that Joey is maybe-possibly a lot more bitter (bitterer? :) about the neverending hiatus than he'd like us to believe. (Not that I blame him, really.)

Funny, considering his easygoing image.

I'm honestly quite surprised that none of the others has said bitter and resentful things about Justin, who basically junked their careers without apparently thinking twice about it. JC seems to be happy doing his thing, Lance is obviously enjoying life, Chris doesn't seem to care about fame at all, but I could definitely see Joey being more bitter than he lets on.
