A delight, a divestment and a plea
Feb. 1st, 2015 07:45 pm1. Today, I came upon this awesome video of a juggler working in time to a Beatles number. I've never seen anything quite like it before. It's delightful.
2. We have been culling again.

The Oxfam bookstore is hereby enriched. At least, we hope so. After the exertion of taking about 250 books thither, we had small (ie giant) doner kebabs for lunch.
3. And, a plea. Lance Bass's wedding is due to be broadcast (is that the right word when it's on cable?) on 7th Feb (when I shall be in Frankfurt watching Queen with Adam Lambert in incredibly tight trousers, ahaha, go me!). Apparently, it will also be shown on E! in the UK on 14th Feb (awwww!).
I don't have E! Arggggh.
I MUST SEE THIS. We have to watch it at Camp Sparkle. We can have champagne, and tiny, elegant comestibles*. THIS MUST HAPPEN. This, and the Carter nuptials, but those are already sorted.
Okay, it will probably turn up on YouTube. But dare I risk the Camp Sparkle 2015 Lance Bass Wedding Celebration And Drinking Game on the possibility? I think not!
So, please, can someone acquire it for us in all its sappy glory, and make sure that a Camper has it in his/her possession?
PLEASE?

Date: 2015-02-02 01:53 pm (UTC)I wonder whether it's worth investing in a Kindle/e-reader to prevent this sort of build-up. I'm still undecided: I do rather like the feel of a real book.

Date: 2015-02-02 06:19 pm (UTC)We have a Kindle, but I agree, there is something about reading an actual *book* that is a bit more special.

Date: 2015-02-02 06:21 pm (UTC)Oxfam have a good network of bookshops, so I expect they'll do quite well out of them. I got my copy of Kaffe Fassett's "Glorious Knitting" from the online oxfam store, because my original copy has disappeared somehow.
