WE ARE MOVING.

Exchanged contracts this afternoon, after I'd almost given up on it happening.

We are moving a week from tomorrow.

OMG, so much wait and see and then bam a week?!?!?! Crazy process! Good luck!!

Yeah, it's a bit crazy. We were negotiation on completion of sale dates, and someone in the chain of buyers was talking about Fridays, getting further and further into April. We didn't want a Friday move because we'll be packing the house on completion day and unpacking it in Norwich the following day.

And then... it emerged that somebody's mortgage offer was going to expire at the end of the month. Thus, completion had to be achieved for 31st at the latest, or it would all be postponed until they had a reinspection, etc. We were hoping to exchange last Friday, but didn't. A rush, indeed! But we have packed our books now, so it's going well.

Eep, that's kind of sudden, but hurray! Here's to the final stretch going smoothly, and the new place being awesome in every way.
