The Popslash Secret Santa Story Exchange
Oct. 25th, 2015 10:39 amI’ve just been looking back through previous SeSa collections, and wow, there were some great stories written for DWNOGA and MTYG. Just finished Always Known, a wonderful Trickyfish story by Terri, which fills me with joy. And there’s also Buoyancy by Merry, which is really about the group love. And Reality, by Pet, which is brief and adorable. Like a Big Pizza Pie by Sola Fiamma, in which Chris has forgotten that it’s his and Joey’s anniversary, but it’s okay because Justin reminds him. This one made me laugh aloud when I got to the end (even though it was inevitable). And Rainbeaux Sue’s Hark, which still brings tears into my eyes. And that’s just a handful from DWNOGA 2006. SO MANY GREAT STORIES, GUYS!
It’s so awesome that this challenge is still going. It’s tiny, now, compared to the glory days, but still the SeSa challenge always produces some fabulous stories. We’ve ten sign-ups so far, I think there are a few more of you still out there, so get your names onto that list!
Meanwhile, how about a few happy memories of SeSas gone by? Favourite stories, favourite writing experiences, even the nightmarish ones you thought you’d never get done in time? Tell me about them all!
