pensnestWe had a rehearsal yesterday, and I walked there, as walking is a Good Thing, Healthy, and Proper Exercise. Takes a little less than an hour, and I knew I could get a lift home.
Unfortunately, the insole in my right shoe is rather worn. In consequence I have *two* mighty blisters on the sole of my foot near my heel, they overlap like a particularly noxious Venn diagram. Bloody painful.
Pout.
And I have spent a Very Long Time on the phone with my electricity supplier, as the account as been FUBAR for so long, jeez, if it weren't for the computers which are like lifeblood to us all, I think I'd go back to candles.

Date: 2005-10-31 12:31 pm (UTC)We have a Pluto! Yay! Admittedly, none of us has yet seen him, for he was unable to make it on Sunday... I shall meet him on Tuesday for a principals' rehearsal.
Phew.
Yesterday evening's rehearsal was good fun, we sang and read through the entire show. It is *funny*. And we are singing well, as a company, even though half the principals were croaking their way through yesterday, smitten with dreadful colds. Once our director has adjusted the performances, and we have the truly magnificent set and glamorous Art Deco era costumes in place, it'll be triffic.
