What a lovely day today. Beautifully sunny and warm—at last the East has caught up with most of the rest (my sisterin Devon said they were having glorious weather last weekend) and we had a bright blue sky today. Beast, Bro-in-law and I went into town to have a celebratory lunch at the Belgian Monk, where I tried not just the raspberry flavoured beer but also the apple one (a bit sharper, not as nice, but still worth drinking).
We walked back via the Macaron shop, which is becoming something of a necessity for my Beast, and will be eating magnificent Cake in a few minutes. This time I am trying the Silver Brownie, which contains lumps of white chocolate.
To my surprise and delight, my haul of birthday presents included chocolate orange truffles from my Beast. He wasn't even prompted!

I've just been revisiting the Colossal art site, and found a few things of particular appeal.
Banksy shows up to draw a mural on a school. It's pretty cool.
These are aquariums-as-art.
These embroidered items are not so much cool as cute, and certainly clever.
And this demonstration of why lemon drops are called drops is quite fascinating.

I suppose I have not posted a Dragon story on every D-Day since I got onto LJ, but I did provide story Dragons for you in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, and a bonus in 2015. Enjoy. I might just have a re-read of some of them myself.
