I'm sure there's fic in this tweet of Lance's and the accompanying photograph.

FIL's shiny new 17-reg all-electric Mercedes has (finally) arrived. Apparently, it came with flowers for Me, which is nice (if inexplicable).

And we finished putting our fitted wardrobe back together yesterday, so this afternoon I have been sorting through my clothes, trying on a few to see if they are worth keeping (some nice surprises, it appears my middle may have become fractionally smaller) and making a charity heap. There is a dreary garment in there which I cannot fathom; at least, I'm pretty sure it was my stepmother's, although what she was thinking when she bought it I can't imagine. It's dark grey, mostly ankle length, and seems to have been tailored to resemble a sack. If I should ever decide to become a nun, this is the garment for me, but as this seems unlikely, it's going to Oxfam.
