My kitties have a food tray puzzle already, but they're pretty good at it so I want a fresh challenge. Hunting for a fresh option that looks interesting, I came upon this awesome site:

I had never heard of food puzzles, so this is awesome. (Plus kittie videos!)

Am I correct in assuming that these are particularly geared toward inside only cats? I mean, I totally want to try these out, but if there's one thing I can say, it's that my cat doesn't lack outlet in her stalking and hunting and foraging behavior (in all the bad ways that implies!!!)

I'm not sure. I think they are particularly useful for rescue cats and greedy cats - cats which tend to gobble their food, because it slows them down.

Our cats can go outside, but they still seem to like receiving their mid-day treats in this, and have learned how to extract their Dreamies from everywhere. They just get a few snacks so that we can corral them while we eat lunch. I was looking for a new board to give them a different challenge!

I don't think Lancecat is interested enough in food for these to work. They do look fun though.

Ah, but has Lancecat tried cat yogurt? Mine, and my sister's, are extremely keen on it!

There is special cat yogurt?! I wonder if that even exists here. I've never seen it at least. I wonder what the difference between that and human yogurt is...

I discovered it in Aldi, although it turns out Sainsburys also sell it - little finger-tubes of goo. We put it into the ice-cube-like pockets on their food puzzle tray, and it is always the first thing they nom. When you're next over here, we must find you some!

What a fantastic selection of food puzzles. Our local cat vet sells a selection, but nowhere near the variety that's on that site.

I know! I've never seen that many, either - I started out by looking on Amazon, where there is surprisingly little choice. Now, I have to make a decision, woe!
