I swear, if I write to my MP many more times, it's all going to degenerate into a morass of foul language. Not that it would make a blind bit of difference, but at least writing *extremely* chilly letters to Chloe Smith relieves my feelings a bit.

We had an open singing workshop day today, and it was very enjoyable. Our guests - not many of them, but they were by and large very competent singers - went straight for the bass and baritone sections, so I decided to ring the changes for myself by singing Lead. So now I actually know the tune to 'Let me be there', which hitherto I had not done.

I am very hot and horribly sticky.

Beast went off and left me last weekend, spending it at the men's Harmony College in Nottingham, where he had an excellent though exhausting time. He had much to impart, when he got home. My MD, today, told me she could see he had enjoyed himself there, and had got quite emotional!
