Sep. 29th, 2019 10:56 pmI've been listening to "The Talisman Ring" by Georgette Heyer (hampered somewhat by the fact that it's all on cassette, and there is a lot of squeaking and sometimes the ends of the tape won't play at all).
And I *adore* Miss Thane.
I think my most favourite Heyer heroines are the least conventional ones (probably true in all romances). In this case, Sarah Thane has a reprehensible sense of humour and cannot resist an opportunity to use it. She is wonderful.
It's not one of Heyer's most-mentioned books, but does anyone else love this one too?
