When Beast bought his new iPhone a week or three ago, he was given a year's free subscription to the Apple TV service. So we've just watched the first episode of 'For All Mankind', and found it very interesting indeed. I'm certainly interested enough to want to watch more.

The BBE have put up a list of 'novels that have had an impact' on the lives of a bunch of "leading writers, curators and critics". It's quite interesting, though I don't always agree with the categories. And I wonder what kind of impact they are talking about.

This evening, Beast and I watched 'A Passage to India', which we'd borrowed from the library in the hope it might entertain FIL for an evening (which it did). A film whose time has long since passed, I fancy.

I wasn't expecting to see Forever by Judy Blume in that list, but it makes sense. So many of my friends at school loved that book and I'm sure I still have a copy somewhere.

That Great British Dildo Heist has just kept me amused for a long time.
