pensnest: Mal Reynolds with lyrics from Firefly theme (Mal still free)

Popslash Christmas Crackers semichallenge. There are now quite a few prompts up, so why not see if anything appeals? Or add a prompt or two yourself?

*

The current 'His Dark Materials' is making me ponder the daemons again. I don't think it would be practical to have a sloth as my daemon, but perhaps a large and indolent cat?

But what would be the daemons of our fan idols?

Adam Lambert is easy - his is a peacock. I think it was an Astolat fic, but as far as I'm concerned, that is *it*.

But my pop boys? MCR and the other bandom guys? Miles Vorkosigan? Mal Reynolds? Other famous figures? Hmm. I wonder how it might affect politics if we could see the daemons of certain prominent figures? In the show/book, there seem to be quite a lot of snakes….

Oh, gods, I am so dreading this election.

now you've got me pondering daemons as well. my first thought for Miles Vorkosigan was a honey badger, but he's not indiscriminately aggressive, just not at all interested in backing down, so I don't know if that's a good fit

Oooh. I have no idea what animals I'd choose for the bandom guys, but it's an interesting thing to ponder!

Well, Frank's daemon might be a small excitable dog. :D

I think Mal's daemon would be a squirrel. Not quite sure why, but that's what instantly popped out at me.

Miles could have a sloth (needs something to calm him down).

Ooh, I need to crystallise some of my prompt ideas into words! And also see if I can get a few tales spun...

I keep on thinking my writing mojo will come back in December, then I realize December is a third over and boggle. Hopefully my writing mojo comes back in the next 3 weeks!

OK, but how is your Slayer!Brian idea so perfect? How??

I love that in your very short, four sentence prompt, you still took the time to address corpse removal and disposal. Priorities!
